Tally is our golden girl. We waited a long time and did a ton of research before we knew our family was ready to commit to getting a german shorthaired pointer. While Tally did come with a great personality (all puppies do), we’ve worked hard to raise her into the dog we want her to be. She is the epitome of a versatile german shorthaired pointer. She is obsessed with birds — a driven hunter to be sure. This dog loves the water and will do water retrievals all day. She loves to jog, bike and hike next to us. Tally is tolerant and loving with our kids in the house, a wonderful mama to her pups, but independent and athletic in the field. She is on the smaller side at 50 lbs and is AKC certified.
